Recently the An Ghaeltacht man has been making waves as straight talking analyst in the media and with his newspaper columns peppered with great stories from the dressing-room, we’re guaranteed an entertaining read.
The tenacious wing-back defined the position and made the number five jersey his own over a generation and will be forever remembered for those graceful solo runs out of defence which often ended in an inspirational score.
There was hardly a finer sight in football, then that glorious Tomás Ó Sé solo/hop combination at full tilt.
As talented a football to ever grace Croke Park on All-Ireland final day which he did on nine occasions, but he was by all means not perfect and saw red on a few occasions during his career.
Ó Sé reached the pinnacle of his career when he won the All-Star Player of the year in 2004, he would also go on to win the Texaco Player of the Year in 2009.
When the legend becomes fact, print the legend. Can’t wait. pic.twitter.com/z8qctSMCCk
