Thousands Expected To Attend Kingdom County Fair Next Month

IT’S that time of the year when preparations are in full swing for the annual Kingdom County Fair.

The launch of the 2019 Fair took place in the Meadowlands Hotel last night and speaking at the launch, the Kingdom County Fair Chairman Mr James Tarrant said; “We are really looking forward to this year’s show which takes place on May 12”.

The Kingdom County Fair is now in its 71st year and the committee has just initiated plans which will, over the next four years, develop the Fair to be one of the leading County Fairs in the country.

In addition to all their normal activities like the competitions, exhibitions, stands etc, this year they have new attractions and new sponsors, amongst them Marca na Feirme, Horse Sport Ireland (HIS) and Captain Brian Cournane, Glenbeigh Farm, Florida.

The Kingdom County Fair is organised by a dedicated committee of volunteers.  It takes place in Ballybeggan Racecourse and it is expected to have a large crowd of over 4,000 people from all corners of the county. For more check out their facebook page
