SO it’s finally here.
Cheltenham week has arrived and there’s some line-up of entertainment planned for The Castle Bar on Rock Street.
And, of course, there’s still time to enter the famous Rollover competition which has been running since 1998.
There’s thousands in prizes this year to be won. You can enter as an individual or get a few friends together to split the cost of the €100. Pick your horse in each race over the four days and try to earn as many points as possible.

The Rollover is just part of a host of events and entertainment at the famous watering hole on Rock Street during what is the bar’s busiest week of the year, with many taking a week off work to enjoy the fun.
Tuesday it’s Dingbats for charity before Wednesday offers a chance for men to look their most stylish and dapper for with some great prizes to be won. There’s also music from Noel Mac & Leonard from 6-8pm and Barcelona and Chelsea on the TV.
Sam McCauleys has given a beauty hamper for the Best Dressed Lady prize on Thursday with music from Sean and Noel McCord. Friday is the biggest day of the week for the Gold Cup.
The festivities continue on St Patrick’s Day this year and people are encouraged to wear green and enjoy Ireland v England game before Kerry and Kildare that night.
With prizes daily it all amounts to a fantastic week of entertainment at The Castle Bar.
