Three Changes In Kerry Team To Face Donegal

Posted by

Kerry_GAA_crestTHERE are three changes in personnel and two positional for the Kerry team that will face Donegal this Sunday in round five of the National League.

In defence, Peter Crowley, and Killian Young, both come into the half back line with Paul Murphy moving to the corner, Fionn Fitzgerald and Jack Sherwood are the players to lose out.

Up front, Paul Geaney comes back into the side after injury in place of his cousin Michael Geaney who loses out due to a back strain.

Stephen O’Brien makes the switch into Micheal Geaney’s place in the half-forward line, while Paul moves into right corner forward.

It was feared, Anthony Maher, may miss out because of a head injury he sustained against Cork, but the Duagh man has got the all clear.

Tommy Walsh, once again is named in the substitutes.

There is bad news for Stacks followers, Shane O’Callaghan, replaced in the panel by Dr Crokes’s, Dathi Casey.

Kieran Donaghy, captains the side.

Kerry v Donegal, Austin Stack Park, 2pm throw in. Game will be shown live on TG4.
