Inch Beach placed at number 25 on the best 30 beaches in Ireland.
THREE Kerry beaches have recently been named amongst the 30 best beaches in the entire country.
The list which was compiled and published on Saturday in the ‘Irish Independent’ took into account the beaches best for families, surfers and swimmers.
Firstly, the famous and wonderful Inch Beach starts off the trilogy by being named at number 25.
This Dingle beach was chosen as a location for two famous films with sections of ‘Ryans Daughter’ and ‘Playboy of The Western World’ filmed here.
West Kerry gets in on the action next with Commenoule Strand in Dún Chaoin placing in at number 23 on the prestigious collection.
This beach is already famous enough for having featured alongside Inch in the excellently made film ‘Ryans Daughter’ but the views from the strand are definitely not to be sniffed at either.
The highest placed beach on the list from the county goes to Trá Bán, located on the Blasket Islands, which came in at the halfway mark at number 15, which features some absolutely stunning views and certainly one to check out.
