THE London Rose will be chosen in the English capital tomorrow night and there’s three Kerry ladies in the running for the crown.
A selection evening will be held in the Clayton Crown Hotel in Cricklewood on Saturday night with 15 young ladies hoping to succeed Aisling Hillary and head to Tralee in August.
And there is no shortage of ex-pats looking for a visit home to the Kingdom, as there are two mid-Kerry ladies and one from Brosna among the contestants.
Kerrie Browne.
Twenty-two year old Kerrie Browne is originally from Brosna and is now living in North London. She’s a nurse who gets to work with children across a broad range of social backgrounds. She is involved with the GAA as well as having great interest in running, horse-riding and camping.

Laura Fitzpatrick.
Killorglin woman, Laura Fitzpatrick, works as a project manager. The 25 year old is a keen GAA supporter and player and is chairperson for the local GAA club in St Albans. She hasn’t forgotten home though and is still involved in the Killorglin Mental Health Association.

Caoimhe Gallagher.
Physiotherapist, Caoimhe Gallagher, is also from the Killorglin area. She loves all forms of sining and music and used to be the resident pianist/singer in the Towers Hotel, Glenbeigh. The 22 year old obtained her diploma from the London College of Music at the age of 15.
