IF you haven’t got Rose Ball tickets then you’re out of luck.
This year’s Rose Ball has sold out more than a month before the start of the Rose of Tralee International Festival, but people can still put their names on the waiting list for the €150 a head event, with around 1,300 set to attend.
The Communications Manager for the Rose of Tralee Festival, John Drummey, said: “Once again, the Rose Ball has proven to be a massive draw for locals and visitors wishing to attend one of the main social events of the year with tickets selling out a week earlier than last year.

“We have established a waiting-list for tickets and anyone who wishes to put their name on the list should contact the Festival Office directly by phone or in person.”
