ANY plans for Valentine’s Night? Why not just get married?
Kirby’s Brogue Inn are inviting couples or just friends to have a bit of fun at the bar on February 14, all in aid of a local charity.
People can come in and ‘Father’ Vinnie Murphy of the Brogue will bless couples in front of a special wedding altar backdrop and have their photo taken. In return they are asked to make a small donation to Kerry Cancer Support Group/Health Link Transport.

The event is sponsored by Heineken and each couple will receive two drink vouchers as a reward for taking part. You don’t have to be a romantically-linked couple, everyone can participate.
The fun begins from around 9.30pm, but the Brogue is encouraging people to come in earlier to have pre-wedding meal in the bar/restaurant and make a night of it, with rock band Renovator playing later that night.
