Participants in last year’s parade.

WITH St Patricks Day just over a month away, the call has gone out to community groups, schools, businesses and clubs to get involved in this years St Patrick’s Day Parade.

It’s always a massive day for the community to get together and the organisers are calling for eye catching entries and floats with the theme of ‘Let’s Get Green’ for March 17.

The parade this year will set off at 12noon from John Joe Sheehy Road, down Boherbee, Castle Street and The Mall.

There will be entertainment in The Square and The Mall before and after the parade and people are encouraged to stay in town for a fun afternoon.
