TLI Group Chooses Enable Ireland Kerry As Charity Partner For 2017

ENABLE Ireland Kerry will benefit to the tune of thousands in 2017 after being chosen as one of two organisations to benefit from TLI Group’s fundraising efforts.

As a company TLI Group, based near Abbeydorney, continuously donate to worthy charities throughout Ireland and the UK.  For 2017 their staff voted and have chosen two very worthwhile and life changing charities, Enable Ireland’s Kerry Branch supporting Children with Disabilities and Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children in the UK.

“The nature of our work sees us working in very close contact with local communities and in turn we feel it is only right to give back to these communities where we can,” reads a statement from the company.

On Monday, a cheque for €5,000 was handed over to Sean Scally of Enable Ireland Kerry Branch at TLI Group’s headquarters in Abbeydorney.

“€10,000 is donated by the company at the start of the year with the charities then being further supported throughout the year by additional fundraising initiatives organised by the company and our staff. In 2016 alone, our combined efforts saw €21,500 raised for Temple Street & Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospitals,” according to TLI.

Founded by Thomas Fitzmaurice and Michael O’Callaghan the company has gone from strength to strength since its formation in 2000. The current workforce is in excess of 400.

TLI Group are a specialised design and build contractor in the area of overhead lines, substations and fibre networks. The company is headquartered in Abbeydorney and has offices throughout Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

 

With record growth in 2016, the company has just opened a Limerick office as it commences rolling out fibre networks to 45,000 homes across Limerick.
