SEAN Scally from Enable Ireland Kerry Services was presented with cheques totalling €3,399 from TLI Group on Tuesday morning.
The Abbeydorney based company selected Enable Ireland as the company’s 2017 Charity of the Year and the money was raised from a series of events and activities organised throughout the year.
The latest staff-led initiative was linking the company safety performance to their charity, which sees a cheque being presented quarterly to an amount determined by everyone’s safety involvement.

The cheque this quarter was presented by Aaron O’Mahony as he was singled out for his safety performance. On top of this, the company have also recently completed a charity walk and bake sale.
“In the last twelve months TLI have raised a whopping €8,399 for our services in Kerry,” said Sean Scally. “We can’t thank all the staff enough for all their efforts and support. This money has allowed us to significantly update our Assistive Technology Department by purchasing an Interactive Whiteboard, an iPad Air and an iPad rack.
“The additional €3399 will be used to purchase equipment to enhance the services we provide to children and adults with disabilities in Kerry. Throughout the year we undertake a series of fundraising events and activities. These events allow us to continue to provide this support and expand our services further,” said Sean.
