Top Health Expert To Advise Tralee Chamber Alliance Breakfast Briefing

tca-tralee-chamber-300x197‘IT’S your business to be healthy’ is the message that both Tralee Chamber Alliance and Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee will relay to attendees at a Business Breakfast Meeting at Ballyseedy Home and Garden Centre, Tralee at 7.30am on Friday, April 29.

The event, sponsored by AIB Bank and Bon Secours Hospital Tralee will feature a presentation Professor Niall Moyna, Head of the School of Health & Human Performance and a member of the Centre for Preventative Medicine in DCU.

Professor Niall Moyna will outline the key to a healthy business while drawing parallels to building a healthy sports team. He will relate to business people and medical professionals the importance of maintaining a healthy work environment and ensuring that staff and management can enjoy a positive work-life balance.

The President of Tralee Chamber Alliance, John Drummey, said: “We are delighted that Bon Secours Hospital Tralee have teamed up with us and AIB Bank for our latest business breakfast meeting. It’s essential that we all promote and create an enabling environment for healthy behaviours among workers. Heart disease is the biggest cause of death in Kerry and Consultant Cardiologist at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, Dr Samer Arnous will discuss how a healthy heart will improve productivity at work.

Stephen Stack, the new AIB Branch Manager in Listowel, a successful footballer for Kerry and coach for Austin Stacks Club, will also present his views on how to deliver a healthy winning team both on and off the pitch.
