Traffic Lights For Low Field/Basin Road Junction Moves A Step Closer

The junction at the Low Field/Basin Road which is to get traffic lights.

KERRY County Council’s plans to install traffic lights at the junction of the Low Field/Basin Road have been published for public consultation.

The proposed works will involve the provision of a traffic light traffic control system inclusive of pedestrian phases and associated road markings.  It also involves an amended kerb line at junction to define pedestrian facilities.

It is hoped that after this period of public consultation, a report will be brought before the September meeting of Tralee Municipal District councillors. If adopted, works will commence in earnest.

Drawings showing the location of the proposed works may be inspected at Kerry County Council, Roads, Transportation and Marine Department, County Buildings, Rathass; Kerry County Council, Tralee Municipal District, Town Hall, Prince’s Quay, Tralee and on the Kerry County Council Website www.kerrycoco.ie, for a period of one month, from Thursday, 18th July 2019.

Observations or representations in relation to the proposal may be made, in writing, and marked Section 38 Tralee, to the Administrative Officer, Roads, Transportation and Marine Department, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry or by e-mail to roads@kerrycoco.ie and must be received by 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 19th August 2019.
