THE Tralee 10 Miler/5k event has raised €2,500 for the Kerry Hospice Foundation.

The race, held back on Saturday, February 12, was organised by Michelle Greaney of MG Coaching and it was another great success with 280 runners registered.

Michelle’s races events always have a charity aspect and Kerry Hospice once again benefitted. She presented a cheque for €2,500 to Maura Sullivan and Mary Shanahan on Friday afternoon.

“I’m delighted we rose this amount and I look forward to raising funds for Kerry Hospice again at my next event,” said Michelle.

“It was also lovely to remember our friend Jemma O’Shea who passed away in October 2020. Many wore t-shirts with her image to show their support at the race,” added Michelle.

“We’re very grateful to Michelle again, she’s come up trumps for us for the past number of years with these events,” said Maura Sullivan of Kerry Hospice.
