Consultation prior to the drafting of the Kerry County Arts Strategy 2016 – 2021 showed a need for more exhibition space for artists in Kerry. The showcase was Kerry County Council’s first response to this need.
“We are delighted to showcase the work of these talented artists,” says Kate Kennelly, Arts Office with Kerry County Council. “Each of the artists has their own unique style – humorous, thought-provoking, challenging, and vibrant are just some of the words that can describe them. I would encourage everyone to call in to the foyer of the Department of Arts in Killarney where the exhibition is.”
Opening hours at the Department are 9am – 5pm. For further information contact The Arts Office, Kerry County Council – 066 7183541 or arts@kerrycoco.ie
