Tralee Bayb SwimmingThe Gerald Walsh Memorial Swim

The final round of our 8 swim World Series took place Sunday evening in blazing sunshine and smooth water . The c1100 metre race took off and finished at a blistering place as vital points had to be won for Swimmer of the Year .

The fastest time was set by Michael OConnell Jnr at an incredible 13m40s and was closely followed by James Slade and David Smith . After handicaps were applied , the winner of Group A and The Gerald Walsh Memorial Cup was Daniel Doyle , Winner of Group B was Rosarie Quilter and Winner of Group C was Bob Fitzsimons .

This makes things very tight at the top of the points table ! Congratulations to all . A big thanks to John And Michaela Edwards and family for looking after the delicious BBQ afterwards !
