A GREAT event to ‘warm’ up for the Christmas swim takes place in a couple of weeks in Fenit to raise funds for a great cause.

On Sunday December 9, members of Tralee Bay Swimming Club will host The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Ireland.

The organisers want to see everybody with their friends and family show up on the day and donate generously if they can. You don’t have to be a regular winter swimmer or even a swimmer.

Taking place at 11am, it will be a run in, get wet and get out…fast! Hot drinks and goodies for all participants, so please make an effort and support this wonderful event.
