A TRALEE boxer has been picked for the Munster team to go to the Hull Box Cup to be held in the Yorkshire city from June 5-7.
Patrick McCarthy of Tralee Boxing Club will box for Team Munster in the Hull the 3rd Annual Hull Box Cup in Hull Boxing Centre.
The three-day event is the biggest Olympic Style Boxing event held in the City of Hull, and in the history of the Yorkshire Boxing Association.

In 2016 284 Boxers from many nations competed over three days in over 250 bouts.
The Open Class Tournament is open to Male Minors, School Boys, Juniors & Youth Boxers and entries are accepted from any club which is a Federation member of a country that is a member of AIBA. Best of luck Patrick.
