Well done to all the Boy 1 who boxed for Kerry on Sunday 3 February.
This is these lads first year boxing so when the chance came to box for their county they jumped at it. Heading into South-side Boxing club was a daunting experience for these young boxers but it didnt faze them one little bit.
Indeed Kerry were very unlucky to go down 5-4 to a strong Limerick team who are sparring each other 3 or 4 nites a week with clubs like Rathkeale, St Francis, Corpus Christi, South-side & Our lady of Lourdes.
There clubs are bang at it every year and each have a great stable of boxers. Well done to the Kerry Boxers and hopefully we will have a different result for the return leg.
