TRALEE-BASED Ard Rí Marble Group Ltd has been named as one of Ireland’s Best Managed companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards programme, in association with Bank of Ireland.
The company, which demonstrated superior business performance, was recognised at a gala awards dinner in Dublin on Friday, March 6.
Commenting on the award, Paul Fitzgibbon, CEO, Ard Ri Marble Group Ltd said he would like to thank all the team right across the board in Deanta, Henley Stoves & Fitzgibbon Interiors for their continued hard work and dedication that made all of this possible.

Started in 1989 by Noel Fitzgibbon and his sons John, Neil and Paul Fitzgibbon, Ard Ri Marble began manufacturing marble fireplaces for distribution to retailers and over the years diversified into three brands – Deanta Wood, Henley Stoves and Fitzgibbon Interiors.
Upon Noels retirement in 2000, Neil and Paul Fitzgibbon took on the responsibility of running the company.
Today the family owned firm employs 79 staff at its 150,000sq ft headquarters in Tralee where they have our sales, R&D, marketing and financial headquarters, with a further 12 at its 70,000sq ft distribution centre in Clondalkin and Dublin. Their customer base is made up of over 1000 independent door and stove retailers.
Deanta UK was formed in 2012 with Mike O’Toole as Managing Director leading the UK operations. The company has grown in to one of the leading UK door distributors.
Deanta UK opened a 70000sq ft purpose-built distribution and sales centre in Cambridge in 2018 with a further expansion completed in 2020 of 20,000sq ft currently employing over 70 people.
Deanta China was formed in 2010 with John Fitzgibbon as Managing Director leading the Chinese operations and has grown in to two manufacturing plants in Zhanjiang South China.
They currently have over 550 staff with a capability to manufacture over 1million doors per year. Globally, they employ over 720 people.
