THE Kerry Citizens Information Service is going on the road next week to bring communities essential information regarding their rights and entitlements.
From tomorrow to Saturday the mobile and outreach unit will be in Manor West Shopping Centre, Tralee, then it moves to Castleisland next Tuedsay for two days at Supervalu Car Park, Castleisland, before moving to Deer Park Car Park, Killarney, from Thursday to Saturday.
Frances Clifford Manager, Development Manager Kerry Citizens Information Service said; “Kerry Citizens Information Service aims to reach all communities in the county to ensure that all citizens have easy access to high quality information, advice and advocacy. The mobile & outreach service is purely for the convenience of those who would find it difficult to visit our other Kerry centres located in Tralee, Killarney, Listowel, Killorglin, Kenmare & Caherciveen. Our objective is to ensure that all citizens are fully aware of their rights & entitlements. Our service is free, impartial & confidential.”
Kerry CIS, provide information on a wide range of issues, including employment rights, housing, social welfare, family matters, pensions, migrant rights, health services, education, disability and much more. They can also help complete forms, write letters make telephone calls and calculate entitlements. They also regularly visit community groups around the county to give information talks on a wide range of topics.
