Tralee Company Makes Donations After ‘Tour de ViClarity’ Fundraiser

BOTH Kerry Cancer Support and the Bon Secours Tralee Sudan Appeal received donations from a Tralee company recently.

ViClarity staff crossed the finish line during their “Tour de ViClarity” fundraiser which had them taking turns on the office exercise bike to keep it moving continuously for the full 40 hour working week.

The fundraiser which ran from December 18 to December 22 has raised a total of €400 from the public and ViClarity have added a further €600.

ViClarity CEO Ogie Sheehy presented Kerry Cancer Support with a cheque for €1,000 which will go towards running the Kerry to Cork Health Link Bus in 2018.

ViClarity also made a donation of €500 to The Bon Secours Tralee towards their Sudan Appeal. In the last few weeks 30 volunteers from the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee including Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Physios, Radiographers and administrative staff travelled to Northern Sudan to bring their skills, vital medical equipment and supplies to the people of this region.

Ogie Sheehy, CEO at ViClarity said: We are delighted to get on our bikes and to make donations to these two worthy causes. The Kerry to Cork Health Link Bus is a tremendous service for the local community and The Bon Secours Sudan Appeal will help a lot of people who are in need of treatment.
