Tralee Company’s ‘Viathlon’ To Raise Funds For Homeless Facility

ViClarity staff all set for the ‘Viathlon’ challenge.

A LOCAL company is taking part in a special fundraising event over the next number of days in aid of Arlington Lodge.

Tralee-based ViClarity kicked off their annual charity fundraiser on Tuesday in in aid of the homeless facility, part of the Novas group, which is located on Church Street in Tralee.

The ViClarity team will be taking part in a “Viathlon” which is their own unique take on the Triathlon.

The group will take part in 12 challenges over the course of 12 days. The challenges will be a mix of sporting challenges and office challenges that will see office members battle against each other over the period.

The challenges include a team 5K run, a Christmas Cream Cracker-eating competition, an office Christmas fancy dress, a morning hike and many other challenges that can be followed on ViClarity’s social media accounts.

ViClarity hope that the cycle will raise vital funds for Arlington Lodge and raise awareness about the service they provide all year round.

A donation page has been set up and can be found on ViClarity’s website, Twitter and Linkedin accounts. At the end of the event, the company will also make a donation to Arlington Lodge.

Neil O’Sullivan, Marketing Specialist at ViClarity said: “We are all looking forward to taking part in the challenges in aid of Arlington Lodge. Homelessness is a big issue in Ireland and we hope that the funds and awareness we raise for Novas and Arlington Lodge will help them in their efforts to help those in need.”

    Supporting homelessness will become increasing untenable as Ireland is about to sign the UN migration UN Migration Pact on the 11th of December?
    If anything there will be even more homelessness in Ireland and Europe for decades to come!
