Tralee Boxing Club has two new Munster Champions in the club after the weekend.
Both Jonathan (42kg) and Patrick (48kg) McCarthy were successful over tough opponents in Munster Championships in Dungarvan last Saturday.
Patrick put in a terrific performance to beat Ger McDonagh, the reigning Irish Champion, to win 4-1.

Jonathan had it a little easier winning 5-0 as he showed his boxing skills from the first bell, moving quickly to deny opponent any advantage, as he strode to the final bell.
Both boys will go on to All Ireland Championships in March, as will beaten finalist Mike McCarthy who lost his third Munster final.
The Kerry County Championships will be held at Tralee Boxing Club for Boys on March 11. These boys will go on to Munster Champions in South-Side BC, Limerick.
