A TRALEE filmmaker won an award at the Limerick Film Festival at the weekend.

‘Sineater’, created by Bertie Brosnan, and filmed in Tralee, picked up the ‘Best Camera’ award at the festival.

It’s more good news after the movie was taken by Bertie to the Cannes Film Festival for the second year running last month.

The film will also be shown at the Hollywood North Film Festival in Canada in mid-July.

Bertie tells us he has been contacted by a very large horror production company about rights for distribution and he is a already making plans for a feature to be shot in Kerry with two big actors already attached.

Watch the trailer for ‘Sineater’ here.
