Tralee Food Firms To Exhibit At Cork Event

TWO Tralee companies will take part in a Cork city food forum later this month.

and Melanie Harty of Hartys jellies and jams will take part in the Cork and Kerry Food Forum which takes place in City Hall Cork on Monday, June 30.

The event is to promote Cork and Kerry food and artisan producers in the region was launched by a partnership including the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) Cork & Kerry, Cork City Council, Cork County Council, Bord Bia and leading Irish retailer, SuperValu.

Food lovers will particularly enjoy the showcase of artisan produce from all over Cork and Kerry, with tastings and demonstrations of an incredible variety of food from unique cheeses, to farm fresh herbs, confectionary, meat and fish products as well as cookery demonstrations with celebrity chef and SuperValu ambassador, Kevin Dundon.

There will be more than 70 companies exhibiting at the event, including Kerry participants Kenmare Living Bio drinks and yoghurt; Killarney Toffee Confectionery; Little Dingle Food Company Preserves and curries and  Anascaul Black Pudding.
