TRALEE gardaí are asking motorists to be careful when dropping or collecting children near schools, after an incident recently.
Speaking on Radio Kerry’s Talkabout programme this afternoon, Garda Mary Gardiner said a person pulled into a car park and drove in a manner which could have caused endangerment to children at a Tralee school, which was not named.
“People have to pay extreme attention when they are in car-parks where there are children around,” she said. “Fortunately everyone was okay [in this incident], but please be careful because this could have had very bad consequences.”
