Jonathan McCrea of Newstalk’s ‘Futureproof’ will chair a panel discussion on Friday night at IT Tralee.

IF you or a family member is considering a career in  Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM), then a visit to the IT Tralee this Friday night is a must.

As part of National Science week, the Institute of Technology Tralee will host a STEM Enterprise and Career Expo from 6pm-9pm.

The event, taking place in the North Campus, will connect students, graduates and job seekers with STEM businesses and enterprise from across the County.

Graduates and job seekers should have CVs to hand, as they speak directly to hiring managers from several businesses that are actively recruiting for positions in STEM roles.

Another feature of Friday’s Expo is the opportunity to discuss a career in STEM in dedicated 1-1 sessions with Career Advisors.

Anyone interested in registering for a free guidance session for a career in STEM should visit http://kerryscience.com/events/career-guidance-session to book a session. Places are limited.

Also at the event, Jonathan McCrea, host of ‘Futureproof’, Newstalk Radio, will lead a panel discussion on the future of STEM with entrepreneurs from industry and sport.

The panel includes, Cora Creed from Universal Music NYC; James Murphy CEO Lifes2Good; and Anthony Maher, Kerry Footballer and Wyeth Nutritionals.
