A TRALEE hotel has won a category at the 2021 Hotel & Catering Gold Medal Awards, which were held last night in the Lyrath Hotel in Kilkenny.
Ballyseede Castle Hotel was nominated in the Wedding Hotel, Four-Star Hotel and the Front of House Team/Team Member categories.
They won Gold in the Front of House category and a silver in the Wedding Hotel category.

Tralee’s Manor West Hotel was a finalist in the Ireland’s Family Friendly Hotel category.
Other Kerry winners were The Europe Hotel & Resort in the Ireland’s 5 Star Hotel Spa Experience; Castlewood House Dingle won the Ireland’s Hotel Breakfast category; Killarney Group won Best Hotel Group and Parknasilla Resort and Spa was voted Ireland’s Favourite Place to Stay.
Now in their 32nd year, the Gold Medal Awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry.
Judged by industry experts, the Awards recognise and reward excellence in hospitality and catering operations across the island of Ireland.
