REPORTS
All the hard work over the past few weeks paid off on Tuesday night in Rathmore when our U14 boys had a great win against Gneeveguilla in the semi-final of the Plate. The final score was Tralee 60 pts, Gneeveguilla 43 pts.
Our boys took the lead from the start and never let go. Their teamwork was excellent, defence was great and they were very strong under the boards. Scorers were Dean Rusk 24 pts, Sean Collins 16 pts, Joe Reidy & Darragh (Beag) O Connor 6 pts, John Feely 4 pts, Odhran Pierce & Jack Dakissia 2 pts. Coaches Dave Leahy & Sean Herrick were delighted with the win and very proud of the way the team played.
Thanks to all who travelled to Rathmore to support the boys on the night.
Our under16 girls had a very close encounter once again with St Marys on Wednesday night in Mounthawk going down to a scoreline of Imperials 41 St Marys 43. A squad that are improving with every game.
