They played TK Cobras in the first round of the plate and won 28/12,then they went on to play St Bridget, Currow and won that game 29/19 which was a trilling semi final and the excitement was unbelievable.

The game in Duagh was a nail biting event, after the first quarter Imperials were 4 to TK Cougars 3, the second quarter was 10 to Imperials 7 to TK Cougars, Imperials couldn’t relax as both teams gave it their all, after the 3rd quarter Cougars were ahead 17 to Imperials 14.

The pressure was on but the girls fought hard and the final score was 18 aĺl,now there was 3 minutes extra time, the girls kept their composure and what a 3 minutes!

They went from strength to strengh and came out winners with a score line of 21/20.

Well done to all the team, they are a great bunch of girls,so committed and thanks also to the great number of parents who travelled to support the girls, a special word of thanks to their coaches Olivia and Anne and team manager Brenda O Connell.

The girls played the following night in a league game v St Bridget and won 34/14,we thought they would be tired but they played unreal, best of luck to them for the rest of the season.
