A mix of nerves and excitement as U11 Imperials Girls B team (Navys) had their first game of the season against an excellent Gneeveguilla side. The scoreline did not go Imperials way on this occasion but a brilliant and brave first game effort by all the team. Thanks to all who came along to support the team.

U16 Girls away to St. Bridgets. You could tell that the 3 games the girls played in Cork last weekend had blown away the cobwebs and they started very brightly and led 20 points to no score at the end of the first quarter.

Imperials won the 2nd 10-4, the 3rd 12-8 and drew the last quarter 12 all to leave the final score St. Bridgets 24 Imperials 55. There will be tougher tests ahead but a great start to the campaign. Well done to all.
