The launch of Sandy Feet Farm’s sponsorship of Tralee Imperials.

Tralee Imperials BC had their official launch of their Academy last Saturday on Sandy Feet Farm.

It was a bright and breezy day, perfect for experiencing all the farm has to offer including the sensory garden which Coach Jimmy Diggins and Garvey’s Tralee Warrior Darragh ‘Skinny’ O’Hanlon enjoyed exploring.

The club are delighted to have the continued support and sponsorship from Sandy Feet Farm.

The Academy has moved to the brand new state-of-the-art venue, Kerry Sports Academy at the ITT North Campus.

Across three full sized basketball courts children will learn the fundamental movement skills with the goal to make basketball a fun, enjoyable and social activity.

Experienced coaches including Imperials Youth and Coaching Development Officer and Warrior Darragh ‘Skinny’ O’Hanlon, Imperials Coaching Coordinator Jimmy Diggins and Warriors Assistant Coach John Dowling will be accompanied by some new and familiar faces of Warriors players at the Academy.

Senior Academy (children born 2010) starts Thursday 5th September 6.00-7.00pm. Junior Academy (children born 2011-2014) starts Friday 6th September 6.00-7.00pm.

New members always welcome and will receive a Tralee Imperials T-shirt and basketball when registered.
