THE number of people on the live register in Tralee fell by nearly 500 in September on the previous month’s figure.
The number of jobless in Tralee now stands at 5,220 down from 5,713 in August.
Overall, Kerry’s Live Register fell by over 1,000 in the month to 11,213.
All Kerry’s major towns showed drops with the Killarney figure now at 1,529, Listowel at 2,331, Killorglin 876, Dingle at 558, Cahersiveen at 408 and Kenmare at 291.
