Strolling through Rome this week, an Oakpark man with a serious knack for bumping into famous football faces happened across none other Leicester City’s messiah, Claudio Ranieri.
Mike Griffin who is a Na Gaeil GAA stalwart says on Facebook…
“Getting lost in the back streets of Rome has its perks..every summer this happens..this year it happened to be the guy looking for a Vardy replacement..Sign me up Claudio.”

This was followed by a selfie with a characteristically jovial-looking Ranieri, no doubt out enjoying the comforts of his hometown Rome, before getting back to defending the Premiership this coming season.
At the 2014 World Cup, Mike, grabbed selfies with a who’s who of football greats including Diego Maradona, Fabio Cannavaro and Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
