THE Tralee-based Seriously Sound Food Co. will see its product featured on RTE’s ‘Today’ show this Thursday.

Owned by Tralee men Richard Sharp and Shane O’Connor the company which makes plant-based meat alternatives, will see their Seriously Sound Plant-Based Chicken championed as part of the daily food slot with Daithi O’Se and Maura Derrane.

Celebrity Chef, Arun Kapil, will be creating a recipe using their ‘Naked Pieces’ to highlight the versatility of Seriously Sound Plant-Based Chicken and just how easy it is to go plant-based with dinners.

The TV appearance ties in with their national launch with Aldi Ireland which sees their Carolina BBQ and Naked Pieces stocked in all 157 Aldi stores across Ireland as part of the Grow with Aldi Programme supported by Bord Bia.

This means that Seriously Sound Plant-Based Chicken is now stocked in over 250 Aldi, Dunnes Stores and Selected Supervalu’s across Ireland since launching in only January of this year. Tune into RTE 1 Thursday May 25th at 3:30pm.
