Stumptown romping home at Sandown in February.

IF you fancy a flutter on Cheltenham today, a horse with a strong Tralee connection has a great chance later on.

Stumptown is running in the Kim Muir Challenge Cup at 5.30pm on Thursday and is owned by the Furze Bush Syndicate consisting of well known Tralee businessmen Garrett and Brian Dillon, George Savage, Ger Teahon and Nathan McDonnell.

Ruby Walsh gave the horse as his ‘NAP’ of the day and he’s likely to go off at short odds. “Stumptown was really good at Sandown and he’ll be hard to beat. He’s my NAP,” said Ruby. He was available at 7/2 earlier this morning so it’s well worth a few bob.
