Fixtures:
It has been a busy fixture list across the age groups recently. The 14s hosted Deel Rangers from Limerick, the 11s travelled to Abbeydorney the 8s played in the first of 2 Ballyduff blitzes, while the 6s had their first outing away to Ardfert.
Under 11:
Our U11’s travelled to Abbeydorney to take on the locals on Friday 23rd last. The team Performed very well on the night, but were unfortunate to lose by 3 points against strong opposition. Making his début and claiming man of the match was Shane Griffin, ably supported by Edward Sheehy who was top scorer on the night, Cian Doe, Graham Sheehy and Jamie Fitzgerald.
Under 8:
Well done to the 30 under 8 hurlers that travelled to Ballyduff Friday evening 23rd. Great experience for the kids playing against great clubs from North Kerry. Same venue same time for another Under8 blitz next Friday 30th.
Under 6:
Well done to all 20 Tralee Parnells under 6 players who took part in small sided matches on our first under game of the season. Many thanks to St. Brendan’s Adfert for hosting this. Some great skills and determination on display for their age, well done to the under 6 coaches and mentors who have been doing excellent development work this year.
