Under 11 Results:
Our Under 11’s got off to a winning start in the North Kerry Under 11 competition Friday evening the 19th. Final score Causeway 4-7 Tralee Parnell’s 5-8. On the day our roving reporters picked out for special mention Eoin Costello who scored 2 of our goals as well as a good tally of points, and Andrew Kerins who was outstanding. A great catch of a long puck followed by a delightful turn and strike for goal by Tomás (who is new at this grade as a player from U-10s) in the last few minutes achieved the decisive score to win the game. The following week the run continued. Under 11 results Group 2, Tralee Parnell’s 7 – 9 Ballyheigue 3 – 7. Well done lads, great second half display.
Under 8 boys:
Our under 8 boys took part in the first North Kerry blitz of the year. Our two teams performed very well and we recorded 3 wins, 2 draws and one defeat. Next blitz takes place next Saturday again in Causeway at 11 am so we’ll be hoping to see and even bigger turn out next week.
