Mount Brandon Walk for Féile:
Parnells will hold a sponsored walk up Mount Brandon Sunday the 13th, to raise much needed finds to send out under 14 Camogie team to Féile 2018 in Connaught.

Sponsorship cards available from under 14 Camogie management, or WhatsApp to Mike Roger on 087 224 0437, or message us on Facebook.  All players over 12 welcome, along with parents and adult mentors.

Under 12 Division 3 Team:

Ideal conditions for hurling in Ardfert Friday evening where our U12 Div 3 team played in an entertaining game against the local team.  Parnells played with the wind in the first half and with some great movement and link up play they held the lead at half time.

On resumption of the second half Parnells playing into the wind held out stoutly against a St Brendans team growing in confidence. With strong defensive and midfield performances the Parnells forwards clicked into gear and both teams traded the lead on a number of occasions.

Some great scores were taken by both sides but it was St Brendans who finished the stronger and scored the winning goals when it mattered. Final score St Brendans 6-6 Tralee Parnells 4-4.

The improvement these group of boys have shown is huge and one has to admire their team spirit. We’ll done all.
Great to see the midfield paring of Rodrigo from Spain and Emanuel born in Crotia in action too.

Kerry Féile C:
Parnells boys Féile panel faced South Kerry in the Féile C final 2018 Monday in Abbeydorney. It wasn’t to be this year, well done to South Kerry and best of luck at National Féile in June.

Plenty of strong individual performances in the Tralee colours, but having achieved a deserved win Saturday in Crotta against Kilmoyley, it was not to be our day Monday.

Tralee Parnells club sign Official Unveiling:
At the Official Unveiling of our Tralee Parnells club sign at training in Caherslee, we had big smiles all around from Club Chair and Chair of Camogie Dermot and Carmel, along with two of the players destined for our first ever participation at Camogie Féile in June.  Many thanks to Richard McCluskey for his hard work and organising.  See photo on our social media.

Minors:
A much improved performance across the panel by the Tralee Parnells under 18 team who faced Lixnaw Sunday in a semi-final of North Kerry B, the winners to face Ballyduff who were drawn through to the final.  These teams met recently when Lixnaw were deserving winners in a one-sided 2nd half.  On this occasion in Kilmoyley, Parnells merited the lead they held going into the final minutes.  However, two late goals by Lixnaw overturned the deficit and snatched victory with the last puck of the game.

Hurling Workshop for Coaches u6 to Minor:
On Saturday 12th May Kerry GAA are running a hurling workshop aimed at coaches from u6 to Minor. The workshop will be facilitated by former Kerry Captain John ‘Tweek’ Griffin. Double All-Ireland Club Championship winner Darragh O’Connell & former Limerick hurler Gavin O’Mahoney.
