Hugely Successful Parnells Summer Camp:

Our 4 day summer camp finished up Thursday and it was a massive success. We had our highest numbers of kids attending a camp and for the first time our own Under 16 and minor boys and girls were the lead coaches. Thanks to Eilish for planning and supervising the 4 days.  Great photos of the fun and action on Parnells Facebook.

Minors vs Ballyduff:

Round 3 of the 1B Minor County League sees Parnells minors face Ballyduff.  Last week, having seen Lixnaw won comfortably at home earlier this year, then a few weeks later when Parnells seemed to have turned their fortunes around, earning a lead that saw them several points around the end of regulation, only to concede 2 very late goals, it was heartening at the third time of asking to see Parnells stay ahead at the finish. This division also has St. Brendan’s Ardfert, so 1 more group game coming up for the Tralee side after this Monday the 16th.

Under 8 Camogie:

Great performance by our u8’s in Kilmoyley. Fantastic improvements in skills and teamwork and all enjoyed the Cillard refreshments after.

Under 10 Camogie:

Kerry Camogie Seniors:

Firstly congratulations to Kerry Camogie Team on the win over Clare, sterner tests are to follow at home again this weekend and away next match. A huge success this year again congratulations to all players on both teams in the Half time game U10 which got a great round of applause by Parents/Supporters and by the Senior Panel themselves.  Thank you to the following:

Parents/Guardians who came to support their kids on the day and the County Team, which is all appreciated.  Katie & Suzanne managing the team on the day, also to my helpers on the day were Caoimhe/Emma behind the goals and Clodagh/Grainne on the lines. These four were also part of our clubs Camogie Team that recently represented us in Féile na nGael in Connaught.
