Under 14 Kerry Camogie:
How many Tralee players can you spot in the Under 14 Kerry Camogie squad who had a good day of Camogie Saturday in Tipp? See photo on Parnells Facebook.  In 5 games they defeated Waterford to get into a semi final vs Kildare. Their win over the Lily Whites then put them in vs Limerick who are unbeaten all day.  In a close final Limerick won by a couple of scores. Credit to Kerry who pushed them all the way. Good prep for next Saturday in Abbotstown.  Thank you to Saorlaith who came along to support and was on much needed water duty on a scorcher of a day at Borrisoleigh GAA grounds.

Cíarraí Abú Camogie Sunday:
Cíarraí Abú this Sunday! Tralee Parnells Camogie are bringing a bus of supporters to cheer you on in the big game against Dublin at noon.

Under 8 Boys North Kerry Blitz:
Well done to all the Tralee Parnells U8’s boys who participated in the North Kerry blitz in Kilmoyley.  We’ll done to the North Kerry GDA Giles O’Grady for organising the blitzes and the North Kerry clubs for hosting them the last few weeks.  Two sessions a week is probably enough for 7/8 year olds so there was no U8 hurling training Friday evening in Caherslee.

Minors County League:
Hard luck to Parnells minors who battled to the end but did not have enough for Ardfert in the County League B final against Ardfert on Monday evening in Abbeydorney.  Some strong individual performances, but the Tralee team were unable in the second to close the gap Ardfert had opened up.

U10’s/U8’s Tralee Parnells Camogie blitz:

Hugely successful U10’s/U8’s Tralee Parnells Camogie blitz held in Caherslee this morning. Almost 40 Tralee Parnells U10/U8 girl’s displayed great skill, individual and team effort and did their mentors and the club proud. Many thanks to everyone who helped to make it such a successful day, from pitch setup, Sandra,Joanne,Niamh and Avril in hospitality, huge sideline support and special thanks to Carmel and her team of referees, Saoirse, Katie, Ruth and Leah. Well done all! Thanks

North Kerry U15 B:
Tralee Parnells had a good win against a depleted Lixnaw side in the North Kerry U15 b Championship. Unfortunately Lixnaw had only 11 players and Parnells had the unusual luxury of a panel of 20. Thanks to all for turning up.  Parnells now meet Ardfert in the final this Saturday in Abbeydorney,  Throw in 6pm. Please come out and support your team.  Best wishes from Parnells for a speedy recovery to under 15 Tadhg Reen.

Kerry Minor Footballers:
Best of luck to the Kerry minor footballers including Parnells Under 16 and minor hurler Devon Burns who is a part of the squad.  Devon has been hurling with Parnells since the club was formed 2012 and everyone associated with the club wishes him all the best.

Camogie under 14 League:
Well done Tralee Parnells Camogie under 14s and all the members of the team squad who player their part in our league win over Killarney Wednesday evening in Tralee.  After a tight and tense first half that ended at 2 points all, it ended on a final score 5-3 to 3-2.

Under 13 North Kerry B Final:
Fantastic win for our Under 13s in the North Kerry B final against Ballyheigue in Kilmoyley. Played in awful conditions both team battled hard and at half time Ballyheigue lead 1-02 to 0-02. A rip-roaring second half with end to end action saw our lads fall 5 points behind but like in all games this year we never gave up and got ourselves back into the game with some great scores from Andrew Kerins and Eoghan Costello. Into the last few minutes we held a dangerous two point lead, ballyheigue tried to battled back but some courageous defending saw us over the line. Final score  1-07 to 1-05.  The trophy was accept by Rory Reen who had a massive game at full and well done to Andrew Kerins who put in a phenomenal performance and was named Man of the Match.
