Under 9, 10, 12 Camogie Blitzes:
What a fantastic end to the 2018 Camogie season Saturday morning in Killarney at the Veronica Stack tournament in Spa GAA! 24 Tralee Parnells girls of various ages come together to field 3 x U9’s teams. Five of our regular U10’s girls lined out with the U12’s which was a great experience for them that will stand to them next year! Each and every performance was outstanding! It was just a pleasure to see the improvement in the girls over the season and the never give up attitude! The girls behaved impeccably and were a credit to the club and parents! A special thanks to all the parents that came to support the girls and help out!Hope you all enjoyed the season and looking forward to having you back next year for more Camogie! Keep practicing over the winter and well done to everyone, from all the mentors! A great day was had .. Killarney fantastic hosts and great fun was had by all .

County U12 Hurling League

Our Div 1 team defeated Ballyheigue in final game of County U12 Hurling League Saturday evening in Caherslee. Our lads were two points down at half time but a strong second half saw them finish up winning by five points, Final score 5-9 to 3-7.  A tough evening for the U12 Div 3 team who came up against a strong Causeway team, Causeway ended up winning handy enough.

Under 16/17 Camogie:
Wonderful performances by all the girls on Saturday; everyone fought hard all over the field and there were some lovely scores. I’m thrilled with the progress they have made this year. The 4 new girls are such welcome additions to the team. Don’t let the dust gather on the hurleys .. look out for camogie playing opportunities at school this autumn and nxt spring. We will be back training the 1st Friday in March 2019.

Under 6s Finish in Style:
Our under 6s finished the outdoor season in style Friday evening with a series of matches against North Kerry hurling giants Kilmoyley and Lixnaw. We had our biggest turn out of the year and our kids played out of their skins. Thanks to Kilmoyley and Lixnaw for making the journey to Caherslee.  Well done to Declan Quill, Niamh Daffy and Ollie Broughton who kept control of the matches….just about.  Few weeks off and we’ll go again the 19th of October indoor in the Complex at 6pm.

Under 14 Camogie:
Well done both Parnells Under 14 teams in your 4 matches each at the Veronica Stack tournament in Spa GAA Killarney. Great preparation for the county final. It is pencilled in for 5pm next Saturday the 6th, confirmation to follow.

Autumn Academy 2018:
Hurling in Caherslee is finished this year for the Under 10 boys but we’re not done yet. Starting the 19th of October we’ll start our 6 week Autumn academy on the large astroturf pitch in the complex. Cost is €15 for the 6 weeks or €3 per session. Great chance for new players to come along and try out hurling. As usual we’ll have hurleys and helmets to borrow.

Thanks For Donation:
Parnells club received our share of the €100,000 donation from JP McManus. Many thanks for this and it will be put to great use in our promotion of hurling and Camogie in the Tralee area.
