Successful 2018 Awards Night:
Some great photos online at of the groups who got their end of year certs and medals at our 2018 Awards Night.  In a lovely evening in the Rose hotel where medals and certs were handed out and players of the year recognised.

Some groups already held their end of year events so it was our under 6 boys and girls and under 10/12/14/16 boys in action.  Special guests were Lixnaw and Kerry Hurling stars Martin Stackpoole and Shane Conway. The two lads spoke to the kids about the importance of practising every day and most importantly to enjoy their hurling.  Thanks to Kerry and Parnells under 17 players Darragh Reen, Ruarí O Sullivan and Devon Burns who presented the under 6 and U10 medals.

Plans for new Departures in 2019:
Following the very positive 31st of October meeting of 2018 minors mentors, parents and club officers, Tralee Parnells are now making plans for our men to compete as a club at under 21 next season.

The consensus at that meeting was that we will do everything we can as a club to give these young men an opportunity to continue hurling with Tralee Parnells.  Now the club has embarked on the road to taking this plan forward.

Féile 2019:
June 7th – 9th Féile na nGael 2019.  Féile na nGael is the celebration of Hurling and Camogie, and will be hosted by Cork (with Hurling/Camogie clubs from Kerry also).
