Under 21 Hurling Coming Soon for Tralee:

Tralee Parnells will begin the process of applying for senior hurling status which will allow the club enter Under 21, Junior and intermediate competitions in 2019. Good few steps to take before this can be ratified by the County Board but with the work carried out and the numerous meetings held to date with club members and relevant parties the club is confident the move will be approved.

Mentor Katie and Club PRO Mike Roger were interviewed with player Leah on Radio Kerry about Adult Camogie Launch

Radio Kerry Sport:

Tralee Parnells would like to thank Radio Kerry Sport for the hospitality of their airwaves on Sunday the 18th of November. Listeners heard about the exciting new departure that will see a Tralee Adult Camogie Revival in 2019, bridging a decades long hiatus.

Successful 2018 AGM:

Officer positions including some new roles, were ratified at the Tralee Parnells AGM 2018 on Friday 16 November 2018 at KOR GAA Tralee. This was our 7th AGM since the club was re-founded in 2012. Officers for 2019 will be listed in upcoming notes, along with extracts from executive and team management reports to the AGM. One of the pleasant duties of club Chair Dermot Reen, was to welcome Mr. Rory Kerins in his appointment to the position of Club President.  Over all the years since 2012, Rory and his company Pro-Plan Property Management Ltd have been generous and consistent sponsors and supporters of Tralee Parnells.  This vital support has been crucial, to our ongoing project to establish Hurling and Camogie as games of choice for players of all ages all in the Tralee locality.  The position of Club President had remained unfilled in 2018, as a mark of respect for the late Eileen Cotter RIP, our deceased former President who had family links back to the 1918/1919 Tralee Parnells.
