Launch Night Party 25th of May:
Parents and Volunteers from each Tralee Parnells team are now selling tickets shortly for our Launch Night Party on 25th May 2019.   At a launch event on Friday the 3rd to kick off the ticket selling, men and women from our two adult teams came to a photo call before training in Caherslee.  We are all looking forward to an excellent night on Saturday the 25th at the Ashe Hotel.

Well Done Parnells U16 Camogie:

Very well done every one of our players Monday at the invitational Kerry clubs under blitz hosted in Caherslee by Tralee Parnells Camogie. A great start to our competitive part of the 2019 season. Congratulations on winning silverware on your first outing as an under 16 panel. Thanks Carmel for the nice photos of the team and of the presentation to our captain Saoirse of the blitz plate trophy.

Parnells players on the day were; Katie Dwyer, Saoirse Maloney, Emily O Donoghue, Ciara O’Mahony, Aoibhin Corridan, Bronagh Kelliher, Saorlaith Moore, Clodagh O Sullivan, Grace O’Brien, Shona O’Connor, Aoife O’Sullivan.

Special congratulations to newcomer, Ciara, on a fearless performance in her first competitive matches .. excellent asset to team!

Kerry Camogie Development were delighted to host panels from Causeway, CillArd, Millstreet (x2), Sliabh Luachra-Killarney and Tralee Parnells at a 9-aside Under-16 Spring Blitz on Monday May 6 at Caherslee GAA Park, Tralee. On the day Tralee Parnells under 16s played camogie teams from CillArd, Millstreet, Causeway and Sliabh Luachra-Killarney. A very big welcome to Sliabh Luachra-Killarney, first ever under 16 competition for these new players from Sliabh Luachra and a great chance of game time for the Killarney contingent.

Under 12 Boys:
Our Div 1 and 3 teams welcomed Ballyduff to Caherslee Friday evening for the final round of the U12 County league. Our Div 1 team had a great win in a tight game and finished 2nd overall in the Div 1 table. Our Div 3 team played well enough in the first half but Ballyduff took control in the second and won handy.

Overall a very positive Phase 1 U12 county league for our Div 1 and 3 team.

Parnells Women Club Debut:

These are the players who represented Tralee Parnells when our adult camogie players took to the field in the Kerry Adult Camogie Invitational Blitz at Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence, Currans on Saturday the 28th of April.

On the day a number of players were unable to attend, we look forward to seeing them in Parnells colours in upcoming games as we drive on further, after a fantastic début winning silverware on that first outing.

Under 16 Boys Semi Final:
It took extra time to separate Crotta and send them to the final in a tightly fought contest in the semi-final.  On a warm evening, Parnells were able to score a goal and a point early in extra time, but the home team reciprocated in the second period and were able to tack on a couple of extra points to seal the win.  A great display by both teams.

Under 8 Boys:
Well done to Nathan McHugh the under 8 boys player of the week.
Our under 8 boys took part in the first North Kerry blitz of the year Thursday in Kilmoyley. We traveled with 21 kids, many of whom were playing their first ever game for Parnells. Our two teams played really well winning a few games and both were very competitive.
Team manager Fiona Reidy and her coaches are delighted with the lads progress, see ye at training in Caherslee.
