U12 Hurling
Tralee Parnells 11-10 Abbeydorney 4-05
Our U12s had their final league game last Friday night in Abbeydorney and had a comprehensive win against the home side. This was a chance for all the squad to get game time and they all performed excellently. Phase 2 of the competition starts on Friday August 14th. Fixtures to follow.

U14 Hurling

Our U14s played Lixnaw on Bank Holiday Monday in Lixnaw (result elsewhere) and play their final County League Phase 1 game at home to St. Brendans next Saturday 8th August at 5pm. Phase 2 fixtures to follow.

U16 Hurling
The U16s are away to Abbeydorney/Causeway on Thursday 6th August in their second match in the County League. After an impressive second half performance against St Brendans in their first match, the team should be looking to build on that potential with a 60 minute performance.

U12 Camogie
Our U12 girls start their competitive season next Wednesday evening. Given the big numbers, and in order to maximise playing time for all the girls, Parnells have entered 2 teams in the County League.

In Round 1, the Royal team are away to Killarney at 7pm and the Amber team are at home in Caherslee to AbbeyKilLix, also at 7pm. The girls have been training hard over the past month so we wish them and their mentors the best of luck on Wednesday. All support appreciated.

U14 Camogie
Our U14 girls’ season started their Co Championship campaign last Thursday in Caherslee as they battled it out against teams from Cillard, Causeway and Killarney in a blitz format. The girls played exceptionally well and each player put in a great effort despite very windy weather conditions.

The games were very tight affairs with only a score or two between the teams but unfortunately Parnells were on the wrong end of the scoring in each game. Well done to all the players, trainers and mentors who contributed to a great night of camogie.
