Tralee Parnells area asking as many of our adults and juvenile members  to do a 5k during the week and register as a (not)parkrun.

It’s a great way to promote fitness and good mental health especially as we come into winter and the second lockdown is tough on everyone.

People can log a 5k every day between Monday and Sunday and their fastest time of the week will be our up on the Tralee (not)parkrun results table.

Finally it has become a national battle now and Tralee is battling to keep our spot at the top of the table! If you are not already registered with parkrun, please sign up for free at: https://www.parkrun.ie/register/

We ask everyone who takes on the challenge to please ensure that Tralee Parnells is your “home club” in your profile.

This will let us track the club’s contribution to keeping Tralee on top of the nationwide (not)parkrun battle!

Kerry Camogie
Well done to Ian Brick and the Kerry Camogie team (including Tralee Parnells panelists) who had a great extra time win against Carlow in the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship at the weekend. We wish them the best of luck in the quarter final.

AGM

Final reminder that this year’s AGM of the club will be held online via Zoom this Friday 13th November, commencing at 8:30pm. Members are urged to volunteer for all positions on the Executive Commitee. Involvement in the club is essential for its future. For the first time, as Tralee Parnells is now a Senior Club, we will be looking for a Juvenile Chairperson and Secretary to work alongside the Senior Club Chairperson and Secretary. Nomination forms have been sent out to all age groups via WhatsApp and will be available from any of the senior Executive or mentors. If you know of anybody that may not have the time to act in a playing or mentoring capacity, but may be able to help from an administrative perspective, please contact Dermot or David with their names.
