U7 Boys and Girls
Our under 7 boys and girls travelled to Firies grounds on Saturday morning to battle it out in a blitz against teams from across the County.
Parnells fielded two teams, each showing great skill and ended the last games of the season in a united front against their opponents.
They clashed hurls with Abbeydorney, Ardfert, Firies & St. Pats and it was fantastic to have so many players in attendance. The training and practice throughout the year has paid off and Parnells put on a great display for all who travelled to support them.
Thank you to the parents for ensuring that the club was so well represented. Thank you also to Firies for hosting and to the County Board for organising and providing the goodie bags.
And finally, a special thanks to the coaches and parents who went the extra mile and stepped forward this week when asked. A team is only as good as it’s right-hand members. Thank you all.
U9 Hurling
A big shout out and thank you to our U9 boys who recently raised 150 euro for our Run4Pieta fundraiser. Well done boys.
U12 Camogie
Tralee Parnells U12 Blue Team who won the Div 1 Camogie Final
What a week for our girls at under 12. The Blue team made history on Wednesday night in Caherslee when they became the first Parnells team to win the division 1 cup in the county league defeating a strong CillArd team.
Our Blue team were undefeated in the league campaign and have shown real determination in all their games.
Not to be outdone by their team-mates the Amber team displayed their battling spirit and great attitude on Saturday when they also were victorious against CillArd in the division 2 shield final.

Congratulations to both teams and well done to the coaches and management. The coaches and management are very proud of these girls and delighted with the progress made.
What a way to finish the season. We hope that this is the first of many successes for these girls. Congratulations again girls and we wish the best of luck to those who are moving up to U14.
