Tralee Parnells CrestUnder 6s and 8s Awards Night:
Some nice pictures on the Parnells Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TraleeParnellsHurlingClub/, taken at the annual Tralee Parnells under 6s and 8s Awards Night 2015 in Na Gaeil clubhouse Killeen, on Thursday 29th of October at 8pm. Kerry County Hurling Officer Ger McCarthy, brought along the Christy Ring Cup on behalf of the Kerry Hurlers. It is great to be able to report that there were queues of young players, standing in line to have their photos taken with this magnificent trophy. Well done Kerry!

Parents Mystery Tour 2015:
Final bookings now being taken for the annual Parnells mystery bus tour, 2015 edition. Instigator-In-Chief John Palmer was remaining tight lipped under questioning, at the under 6 and 8 awards. Mr. Palmer declined to comment on rampant speculation, that the destination this year may be a new venue, never previously visited by the mystery bus. Bookings on 087 225 8894.

Under 10 and older Awards Night:
At the recent under 10 and older Awards Night, the mentors praised the efforts of all our players and picked out several individuals for special mention. These included for the under 10s, Best Trainer: Barry Hamilton, Most Improved Player: Donnacha Buttimer, Best Attitude: Dan Moloney, Most skillful: Michael Tansley, Best Newcomer: Nicholas O’Sullivan. In the under 11 and 12 brackets, U12 Player of the year Tadhg Reen, U12 Rising Star Joey Nagle, U11 Player of the year Edward Sheehy, U11 Rising Star Jack Doyle. For the under 14 boys, every under 13 and under 14 player was presented with a bespoke certificate. Each certificate included a customised citation, capturing the particular attributes and strengths, that this member brought to his team during 2015. In the older age groups, we had U15 player-of-the year Cathal Dunne, U16 player-of-the year Johnny Downey and Minor player-of-the year Ciaran Breen. Very well done to these and all our players and to their very dedicated panels of mentors.

Preview of the 2015 AGM:
We will hold the Parnells AGM on Friday 6th of November in Kerins O Rahillys 8.30pm. Among the many milestones and significant events of 2015 to be discussed among the attendees are, U12 boys win of the Kerry County League Under 12 Division 2, U12 Camogie Panel trips to the Camán to Tipp blitz in Semple Stadium Thurles and the Camán to Croker blitz covered by IrishTV.ie, Parnells adopted an official Club Constitution at a specially convened EGM in 2015, Record Breaking Monster Blitz at Mitchels in September, Tralee Parnells compete for the first time ever, at Minor Hurling and Under 14 Camogie grades, Camogie mooted in Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí for the first time, due to the performance there, of one of our Parnells under 14 Camogie players, Awards Night With Excellent Special Guests, the two Kerry Captains.
